About Virgile Simon Bertrand

Virgile Simon Bertrand is a French architectural and interior photographer based in Hong Kong, with more than 25 years of experience photographing the built environment across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Formally trained at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie (ENSP) in Arles, France, he has built a body of work spanning landmark cultural buildings, luxury hospitality interiors, flagship retail environments, and high-rise commercial developments across the Asia-Pacific region.

His images have appeared in Wallpaper*, Architectural Record, Architectural Digest, Vogue China, Vogue Living Australia, Elle Decoration, Forbes, Domus, and Frame, and in books published by Thames & Hudson and Taschen. A portrait was selected for exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London as part of the Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize. His architectural work has been exhibited in Paris, Arles, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen.
